Tom Scholz and Co. kick things off in Hollywood, Fla., April 14 at Hard Rock Live. From there, the dates are locked in for Florida, one show in Mobile, Ala., April 21, and pairs of shows in Louisiana and Arkansas. The closer is in North Little Rock, Ark., on April 26 at Verizon Arena.

There will be plenty more stops announced later, so fans not in the regional south needn’t fret, you will likely get your chance to hear the glorious anthems of the Band Out Of Boston.

It has been more than 40 years since the band released its first, eponymous, debut album.

Fans will be glad to know that Boston founder Tom Scholz is still feeling up for such a long tour. He recently lost his defamation suits against his late bandmate Brad Delp’s ex-wife Micki and the Boston Herald, claiming Micki connected Brad’s suicide to his relationship with Scholz in a way that was defamatory and untrue. Courts awarded no damages but Scholz said the whole thing made him feel like a “disgrace and a hoax.” Scholz also recently lost a suit against former bandmate Barry Goudreau.
