Lukas Graham

Lukas Forchhammer grew up in the Christiania section of Copenhagen, Denmark – a gritty but creative neighborhood that informs much of his work as the frontman of

Forchhammer and his band, which consists of bassist Magnus Larsson, drummer Mark “Lovestick” Falgren, and keyboardist Morten Ristorp, initially garnered attention with homemade videos for pop-soul songs like “Drunk in the Morning” and “Criminal Mind” before signing with Copenhagen Records.

Performing as Lukas Graham, the band released several singles and toured Europe relentlessly in 2012-13, but was yet to break through in America.

That would change after the band caught the ear of Warner Bros. Records in 2013.

The group was brought to Los Angeles to record its eponymous full-length debut, including the ubiquitous hit “7 Years,” which has earned Grammy Award nominations for song and record of the year, alongside such luminaries as Adele, Beyoncé and Justin Bieber. Lukas Graham also notched a Grammy nod for best pop duo/group performance.

Represented in North America by Creative Artists Agency’s Kasey McKee and Tommy Bruce, Lukas Graham is making its mark on the road stateside as well.

A series of summer radio shows got Lukas Graham in front of amphitheater audiences, followed by some packaged dates that saw the band making the jump from 500-seat clubs to 1,500-seaters.

Lukas Graham continues that upward trajectory, carrying headline dates at larger clubs and theaters including the Wiltern in L.A., UC Theatre in Berkeley, Calif., and House of Blues in San Diego, and closes out the year as part of the “Jingle Ball” series of holiday radio shows.

The band is striking while the iron is hot. It takes a couple of weeks off for the holidays before hitting the road again with a headlining theater tour across the U.S., including a stop at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, before returning to Europe for an extensive run that closes out in June back home in Denmark. –
