Kings Of Leon Adds Fall Leg

Kings Of Leon’s “WALLS Tour” continues with another batch of North American dates announced today. Cities on the new leg include Nashville, Vancouver, Louisville and Saint Paul.

The guy are supporting their seventh studio album, 2016’s WALLS, which marks the band’s first No. 1 album in the U.S.

It’s no wonder the band keeps adding dates – when the initial tour routing was announced in January, most gigs sold out immediately. The trek launched on the East Coast in January and then headed to Europe in February.

Patriot Ledger writer Jay Miller caught the band’s Jan. 13 gig at Boston’s TD Garden: “Most of all, Friday night was an amazing display of the multitude of different effects you can coax out of guitars, and while Matthew Followill deserves a lion’s share of the credit there for his constantly riveting performance, the rest of the band should share in the plaudits for the way they supported and framed his work, and there were often two other guitarists playing rhythm. But for hearing the six-stringed axe wielded as lead instrument, rhythmic force, or even percussive punctuation, Friday night was unsurpassed as a night of glorious guitar-rock.”
